#3: Mixing Colors - Primary colors can be mixed to make other colors.

#4: Rainbows – Colors of the rainbow and exploring how to make a rainbow

October: Why Do Leaves Fall?

#5: The Season of Fall- The changing of the season from summer to fall.

#6: Trees in the Fall – Parts of a tree and the changes that occur in the fall.

#7: All About Leaves – Leaves have many different shapes and sizes

#8: Leaves in the Fall Leaves have other colors besides green.

A1 Use the senses and simple measuring tools, such as rulers and equal-arm balances, to observe common objects and sort them into groups based on size, weight, shape or color.

A3 Count objects in a group and use mathematical terms to describe quantitative relationships such as: same as, more than, less than, equal, etc.

A8 Relate seasonal weather patterns to appropriate choices of clothing and activities.
